Victoria Beckham Is Both Posh and Socially Conscious in a Faux Leopard Coat

Victoria Beckham arrived late last night into New York City channeling a modern day Edie Sedgwick. No, no, Beckham hasn’t traded her wide-leg trousers for a black leotard just yet. Instead the designer topped off her airport ensemble with a Factory-worthy leopard print coat. Wide lapels and a split sleeve added drama to the already standout piece—and that’s not even the best part. Made in heavyweight chenille, the coat provides both an animal-friendly take on outwear and a cozy option for a trans-Atlantic journey.

Beckham employed a strong sense of tailoring for the rest of her look: a fitted black turtleneck and flared trousers. She topped it off with a spring 2019 collection gold-trimmed bag and bold Céline sunglasses. Even with an all-black ensemble, there’s no way Beckham could slip under the radar in a coat this good.
